HS English enrichment programs lead 9th and 10th graders to deepen their understanding of reading through the analysis of sophisticated narratives, complex arguments, informational texts or literature. Students will learn to express themselves clearly and effectively a thorough understanding of the skills and techniques essential to various forms of written communication by emphasizing on mechanics.

Designed specifically to help transition 9th and 10th grade students into SAT English prep, this class aims to strengthen foundations for strong reading comprehension and analysis skills. Students also gain thorough knowledge of grammar concepts commonly tested on other high school standardized exams such as the PSAT and ACT.
